my MG34T Panzer Mantle dot 1944

Here is my latest addition to my collection, the rare MG34T with the Panzer Mantle armoured barrel jacket for use in Panzers. It is late war dot produced in 1944,in excellent unissued condition, possibly from russian capture stocks. Has full matching serial numbers to the barrel jacket, top cover, and receiver, sadly the stock and feed tray are non-matching, the feed tray is also an mg34 standard type that i hope to swap out for a correct type.
The top cover is Grossfuss bpr marked, the feed tray is Carl Eickhorn cof marked and appears to be of an earlier type with the waffenmeister added belt hook riveted in place. the bakelite stock is ehe, the bipod is a correct late war type non-adjustable and marked dfb 1944 for gustloff werke. It has its rare front sight/bipod adapter that clips onto the armoured barrel jacket and is CNX marked. It also has its front muzzle booster retaining clip. the bolt is non matching and is an earlier type marked 5A on the body, and duv marked on the bolt head
I have also shown the rare accessories including the rare MG - Werkzeug tool and spare parts case that is found mounted inside Panzers for the MG34T, this box and the MG. - Zubehor box are in original color. restoration of both these boxes wil begin soon.

Thanks Phil...I know you are posting these pics for me. Now, I am a bit envious....you've got the flash-hider clip missing in my Pzlauf MG34s. I'm glad you've got a better "MG Werkzeug" box.

Carles yes was lucky to find an MG - Werkzeug box in original color with original stencil, goes well with the Zubehor box too, i just need to restore the internal fittings on the boxes

Beautiful gun and accessories! Neat to see some of the rare parts that were part of the tanker '34 ensemble.

                          Hey Phil,

I've also got another one on the way! The stencil is a bit damaged but the inside metal parts are complete!!! These are seller's photos.

Now I'll have a spare one...
