I was at an auction a couple years back and they had an MG42 machine gun that was demilled and when they auctioned it off the ammo belt did not go with it and being as Im an avid 8x57 shooter I bought the belt with the ammo included and after I got it home I wandered if this is an item better left as a machine gun belt than to strip it down and go shoot the ammo so is there any collector interest in this MG 42 ammo belt and thanks in advance Mike.

Post Pictures of the headstamps of the Ammo, if it is original German WW2 ammo, then yes, it is collectible.
