This might be the serial number. I don't know much about "ac" marked LPs, but I would supect '42 or so.

AC no dates, just like with P-38's, are usually 1940.

This example has no serial number, and may be a Walther Replacement frame from a parts box, as replacement parts had no serial number.

What is the whole serial number on the barrel and letter suffix if it has a suffix.
That info should help with the dating.
