hello fellow colkectors.
i have a friend here in Norway,that is looking for a SS luger,are they hard to find,or where can he get one?
What about buying a persian,when he wants ss ww2?

The Lugers issued to the Waffen-SS were not marked in any way to identify them as such. If you do find one, it is fake.

Only a few of the Persian Lugers were imported into the U.S., but have no knowledge if any were imported into Europe.

Have seen a coupla on the web page to phoenixinvestmentarms.
I see theyu are black with white markings,any thoughts?

Not sure which one you are referencing, but the white paint in the markings is something added by collector/dealers to make the markings show up better.

I did see several "SS Officers Black Widow Rigs", but I would take that with a grain of salt.

A marked one is a "pipe dream"....while there are KZ Lugers as in early ones, as described in the blue book this is something different. I'm not saying there are not SS marked Pistols, just like there are K98s though....I "think" your best bet, is to contact someone like Jean-Loup who knows diggers from Russia personally and secure a ground dug piece somehow found on SS Positions, not sure of the laws about that though! Then there are likely war trophies too, which are documented, but the Pistols would likley not be marked any different then any Luger.

i can see the black widow easy can be a SS luger.
think i just try to find a black widow or a ordenairy luger.

however, i do know of someone in Netherlands that has a complete Persian artillery luger, but he wants 5000 euros

I'm thinking if your friend has to have a documented pistol carried by the SS his best bet would be a RHSA/SS marked PPK.
