Where do all the pistols go when we are presented with a ww2 holster for sale? I spoke with a young collector today who keeps the pistol and sells the holster....a novel idea I must say I found this out when we were discussing the pieces he come across and the fact that he has sold a dozen or so holsters over the past five or so years...and kept the handgun, A few Lugers and P-38's mixed in.

I have always wondered why the two items would ever have been seperated, trophies taken on the battlefield leaving the holster behind account for some of this but now there is a new wrinkle. You learn something new everyday.
