    Mg42 canvas cover

    Hello,

    I need some help with this canvas cover to determ origin.
    Its not like the yugo ones,the whole is round and not in a square.
    No visible markins.

                        I agree with Ed, it's not for an MG42 but a 34. The hole for the cocking handle is round.

                          Thanks for your thougts guys.
                          Never was aware the postwar Yugo army used the MG34.
                          I do not think this is a repro cover to fool collectors,materials used are good Looking and there are a few modification like the hook,stud and rivet
                          It would be nice to see a ''period photo of the Yugo army using the MG34"

                            I recall seeing some serbian irregular troops shooting an MG34, some years back in the news, during the Balkan Wars.
