    Colt 45 holster WW2 ?

    Hi guys,here is a holster for colt 45 Marked CRUMP 1942 ....
    I need your help with this one ...is it an original WW2 holster ?

      I can't see much detail and they began making good copies of these in the early 90's (I have one such holster myself) the one I have looks old now too, I don't like the lack of detail and 'height' or 'depth' to the US embossed marking in the flap....I would not be comfortable buying this holster based on these photos unless it was for 50.00 or so.

                    Original, without doubt, from the Benjamin Crump Co. of Richmond, Virginia.

                    Also, the reproduction makers have not yet figured out how to fake verdegris, which takes about 50 years to form.

                            I have it on my 1993 US embossed flap holster, but these are both good holsters, the new photos make this easy.
