    Value of this K98

    Hi guys

I am a bit clueless concerning that value of firearms, thinking of selling this and I like to know what a fair asking price would be.

Pin removed and barrel filled with lead. Also consider it's for the western european market American friends...

    Thx
    Nick

Hard to tell much from the pics. Outside would be better, are #s matching? Not a real rare maker code.

I disagree 660 1940 is a very hard code to find. In the US if that rifle were all matching and not deactivated that would be a $2500+ k98.

since you provide almost no information giving you an accurate value is not possible

        Wut?

660 is the code for Steyr-Daimler-Puch AG, used only two years in 1939-40 before they switched to "bnz."

My point was 130,492 units made that year. So, yes, not like a byf 44.

It is worth more there than here. Original slings are $125-$150.
