    VKT M39 Finnish Nagant (1941 dated twin)

    I posted the 1944 VKT earlier today, might as well "bookend" the day with it's twin, 1941 VKT, again excellent condition, mirror bright bore, stock has been "tru-oiled" or something similar, looks good, but I might take it back to the original dull finish wood. Haven't decided yet, but in no rush. I've acquired 2 of these in two weeks, if I had been just a little more aggressive I would have gotten 2 more to go with this one....I had several old sheets of completed gunbroker auctions on these in 2005, luckily I was able to pick up both of my recent Finns for pre 2005 prices....

          Splendid rifles , well done !!

          From the stock splinces, it looks like your 44 dated one has its original stock and that your 41 acquired a new stock post war.

            Nice looking gun you have there.

            I have shot this gun type now 3years in historic shooting competition class.Fantastic gun to shoot and very accurate.
