what would be the value of a piece like this

thank you for your time and help

                    Hello Tony,

From the serial, this piece was manufactured in 1943 and appears all correct, if rather salty. Given the date range, however, it's unlikely it left Germany in the hands of the 90th Division.

I'd have to defer to greater minds with regards the holster though, as I'm no expect on leatherwork.

You have a nickle plated PP? I can't tell if it is factory or post war plating. You assumed your gun was recovered by the 90th ID because the some from that division recovered PPs one of which was in the 293xxxP range? But that one was engraved and in the white,so there is no association with yours. The holster is a nicely marked commercial one for the Walther PP that was made by the Albrecht Kind company and sold by Walther retailers.

If the nickle plating was done post war and a lot of vets had it done, the value of the gun would be greatly reduced to a shooter grade rather than a collectable.

They are great shooters. Wish I still had mine.
