    AC44 P-38 value

I am trying to price out a matching P-38 AC44 probably about 80% bluing, serial numbers are in the 5000s L. It is a Vet bring back but without capture papers, comes with a 1944 cxe breakaway holster and two magazines. I know it is very hard to price guns out but they asked me market value, I do not collect guns but will try to help them figure out value. The barrel looks a little rough to me but they said the bore is in better condition.

Nice looking rig, an AC44 is a very common P.38, I would say more around 750-800.

I cannot tell if it was denazified or if it was a crappy stamping.

I told them that it was worth less. It is not for sale, they know I collect uniforms and wanted to know a value. Thanks!
