    Walther KKW...many pics

I wanted to share a recent addition to the "family. This Walther KKW has everything for me. Great condition (98%), low SN, unsanded furniture with beautiful figure, scarcity of a Walther KKW [only ~5K were made], and a legit bring back [duffle cut]. It's a piece of art, craftsmanship, and history wrapped together. Am I addicted or what? I'd also like to visit with other Walther KKW owners! email me rmarqu255@aol.com

Super nice KKW Bob! I love it

BTW, does anybody know what these KKWs are selling for these days? I had a chance to get one a few years ago, and passed on it, but am interested in what they are worth now.

            Hi Bob,
Nice KKW! A lot of the Walther KKW's in the "s" block were issued to the NSKK and stamped as such on the stock. Yours is the lowest "s" I can recall seeing and must have just missed the NSKK block.

Matt, I saw a BSW W625C at the JAG show last weekend priced at $650. I suspect you will have to pay this amount or more (probably more) for a nice KKW.

By the way, I'm looking for a bolt for a Mauser-made DSM-34. Can anyone help? Thanks....

              Kkw...

              dags-

I believe all Walther KKWs have SN with the 'S' designation. I guess this is a 'block'-designation, yet all Walther KKWs apparently have the 'S' designation and SN presumable began with 1S (see Speed).

Yep, this one has the lowest known SN among my circle of trainer buddies for a Walther KKW and this was a nice addition for me on this piece.

Gustloff KKWs are more common (10-15X) and price starts at 600 and goes up. One Gustloff just finished on GB and was @ 850 reserve not met but had a nice stock cartouche. Again, my circle of trainer buddies informs me that these Walthers are scarce as hen's teeth. IMHO, if you find a nice one for less than $1K, buy it!

                Hi Bob

I dont think that the KKW are as that cheap. I never seen one in Austria for
650$ that days. This type of rifle is nearer 800 - 900$ and price is slowly growing up. I will take some pics of mine next week and will post em here.

                Anyway yours is a beauty

Have you ever shot with your KKW?

Hi Bob, beautiful gun indeed! May I ask you the butt plate of your Walther KKW is blued or left in white? I have no doubt that the butt plate of WWII German military rifles are left in white as most of my 13 German rifles (K98k, G41 and G/K43) have white butt plates. The exception is my Gustloff KKW which is blued. I have long wondered if this is correct or not. Any opinions much appreciated.

Just bought a trainer, in very good condition, nicely marked on the stock to the NSKK, for $850.00, plus shipping.

In 1999 I purchased a BSW trainer for $600.00 and in 2001 bought a JGK trainer for $700.00. Both of these rifles are in very good condition. Give an idea of how the value of these trainers are increasing.

                      NSKK Sport Modell

                      Joe,
Nice score on the NSKK Walther Sport Modell. I have to admit that I am one of the guys that was bidding against you. I would have loved to add your rifle as a mate to my NSKK marked Walther KKW.
Your rifle was discussed previously on another forum. If you didn't see it, here ya go....

                          Thanks Bob for your reply.

On my Gustloff KKW, the top side of the tangent sight, bolt body and stock disk are white. What parts should be white? Anyone have thoughts on this?
