LAH gas mask can

Barnfound with other items in endfightings area. On the bottom is painted "SS-Sturmbannf JUST" IMO. I have not checked if he is named in the literature. In case the writing is just Sturmmann then definitely not...

one should open the can before making conclusion. Inside it is marked "Kan. Just" which rules out the Stubaf. Writing on mask is 1./159. Why are the parts on the mask blue? Is this common?

Obviously Mr. Just was first assigned to Artillerieregiment 159 and later as "Nachersatz" transferred to LAH.

Das Artillerie-Regiment 159 wurde am 26. Juni 1944 auf dem Truppenübungsplatz Groß-Born, im Wehrkreis II, aufgestellt. Das Regiment wurde als bodenständiges Regiment zu drei Abteilungen aufgestellt und der 59. Infanterie-Division unterstellt. Das Regiment wurde unter dieser im Westen eingesetzt.
