    1910 Italian Glisenti

Ugly pistol. This one has some pitting issues on the exterior. But they are hard to find in this part of the world, so I guess I'll have to live with it for a while.

    Hello,

    They are strange pistols.
I have one at home but even in Europe we dont see them so much.
Did not know it is so easy to get guns in New zealand.
I am currently working in Oz and here its seems almost impossible.

I wouldn't go so far as to say its 'easy'! Pistol licences are very difficult to get.
But we have it better than the Australians, that's for sure.
      Cheers

Also in Italy this is a rare and well priced gun.

Remember that it's in a strange caliber: the 9 Glisenti that is very similar to the 9 Luger or 9Para that are 20% more powerfull and also the Italian 9M38 that is further 40% and don't shot them in it.

That is not a gun that you see often.

What's the barrel length on this? I wonder if it would be legal in Canada...

                        Hi Ted,
Above is a link to an Italian forum.
You have to turn the screw on the front of the pistol.
The top plate will come of.
and then you can remove the grip.

                        Hope it helps

If you shoot it do not use regular 9mm luger in it. The 9mm Glisenti round is identical in measurements but is lower powered. (mm luger in that gun would make for a nice hand grenade. Just FYI. Nice piece and something on my wish list.

Thank you! No way I'd shoot this thing even with the correct ammo. Too risky.
