New to the forum. I was told this was a Sauer 38H. It does not have any "Sauer" slide" markings. It does have the Eagle "N" below the slide and another Eagle "N" just behind the sights. The serial number is 456868. It came with the shoulder holster and wooden handles. I was hoping that you could add a little more information to my firearm. Thank you very much.

I agree, late war, probably mid 1944 production. "War" finish, kind of a gray color, definitely not a high polish blue. I think the grips are not original, most were the black plastic, but they are very fragile and somewhat rare. They are great pistols, ahead of their time....
