Opinions on PPK

I have an opportunity to buy a PPK eagle C. Its in very good condition from what I can see and by that I mean it is all original and looks to have thin bluing on one side at least. Seller is asking 600 to my C&R with a box of 32 ammo. So all in for around 585 if you figurer the box of ammo is worth 15. What is your opinion on it? Fair deal or not. I get some on other forums who will say this is a 400 dollar pistol but find one. Its near impossible to find PPKs war time in usable condition that go for that. 500 is very entry from what I have seen. I appreciate any help. Thanks in advance.

Grip looks cracked but still not easy to find in that price range.

I think it is a good price for police issue PPK.

I'd like to know on what planet you can get a PPK in that condition for $400. I wouldn't worry about a grip crack, they are common in that type of grip. I hope you get many years of pleasure from your fine pistol.

I agree. I have seen the blue books and some prices but I have said for years I will buy all you have at those prices. I can't find any for that. I just sold a 1935 with some pitting for 800 dollars and I know a eagle C will bring in more. Well it comes to my C&R monday. So its Xmas for me in Feb.

Great price for a Police marked PPK. Is the slide matching to the frame?

I don't know. I found it on line and its in the post. Will be here monday. I will let you know when it get it. I asked that and the buyer said they did nto know what I was alking about. It can be very hard to see the scratches so it was not worth asking.

The L H grip panel looks like it has a long crack in it. Still IMO a good buy at that price. Post some more pics. when you get it.
