Just ran across this posting.

The rifle looks OK to me, just missing the front sight hood as far as parts goes. The rail is fine as far as I can tell, the notch helps with using the scope mount on the rifle.

It looks like a Walther made G43.....Likely an 'ac44'.....Appears to be in original untouched condition, only lacking the front sight protector.....Bodes
