Gents, I need some help on this scope. I believe from looking at pictures that it is German. Is it missing any pieces? What kind of scope is this exactly? Would it be used on the K98? What is the approximate value of this piece? Thank you in advance!

Well with those photos, its a German or European sporting scope off hunting rifle or perhaps a Drilling -

There were many civilian scopes used in military service for Germany in WW2. I would like to know what type of cross hairs it has, such as military three post configuartation or just regular cross hairs ? This scope has the claw type mounting rings, and may have been used on a military 98. At first glance I don't think the value is that high, but somewhere around 350.usd or in that general ball park.
