Stantien & Becker flare gun 1915

Hello,
I was offered this flare gun as a trade for something I had for sale. Based on the value it seems a good deal, because these have a good value.

I only don't know that much about these. Does it look totally original? (grips etc)

Hello, It looks cleaned and at some time polished, but original. It is also missing two brass guides for the break open device, and the screws that hold it in place.
