MP40 Code 660

I picked up a UK New spec MP40 660 40

It is not 100% matching with all but the barrell and nut being early code 660 stamped. It is also has a low issue number of 645.

I gather from reading up on code 660s that there were not many issued and was wondering what sort of UK price it is worth.

Any help is greatfully received.

Hello, I would say it's worth about 1000 pounds may be a little more. However if you are looking for a quick sale there's a crisp 5 pound note with your name on it! 660 is the early code used by Steyr, later on they coded them bnz, most Mp40s were made by Steyr.
