    fn slide cyq zero series

    Cleaning some P38s tonight and thought I'd shoot a couple of pictures of this one. All matching, fn slide with all "u" proofs instead of waa/88 proofs. Also has the etched serial number on the slide along with the "M" . Gun was dipped but, has no import marks. I used a ultrasonic cleaner to remove the dip.

    Looks really nice.

    I never thought of ultrasonic cleaner to remove the dip. I just sold a really nice -41 P38 because I hated the dip

      The ultrasonic works really well. If the dip is really thick I use a second step that includes isopropyl alcohol and a cloth rag with q-tips. The second step gets the heavy sections of dip off...
