MG42 Stock good?

Is this one a german ww2 stock?looks like it to me even tho there s no stamps.value?

I am sorry to say IHMO it's not a WW2 German buttstock but I believe a post war Austrian re-work of a WW2 German buttstock. WW2 German metal work, Austian wood work, the shape is not quite right and it's to dark to be beechwood although Birch was used at the end of the war. Nicer than the Yugo ones though. See what other folks think. Jonathan.
