cyq with a fn proofed frame

Here's a all matching, "x" block, cyq. This one has a waa/140 proofed, fn frame. This was purchased from the vets nephew with a 1944, softshell, P38 holster.

In a Spreewerk, you got to love those tooling marks!

      Hi Jeff,

      Rare gun. Congratulations.

What is stamped on the slide lock? It looks like "42"?

      Regards, Leon

        cyq with fn frame

Greetings Leon, what you're seeing are just imperfections in the metal. I'll blow up a Lix when I get home.

        Have a great day!

                cyq P38

                Hi Jeff,
If you receive a large soggy parcel from the UK it's because I'd give "an arm and a leg" for a P38 in this condition - even a deactivated one which is all we're allowed in the UK!
All we see nowadays are Russian-reblued specimens which just ain't the same thing!
                A super piece indeed.
                Well done,
                Grossfuss

Hi Grossfuss, come on thery're not that bad, once you get some of the Ruskie dip blue off and a bit of red and white paint on them they are quite nice, especialy the all matching number guns. As you say that's all we have and we are not adult enough to have live guns thanks to the powers that be. Regards David.

                      cyq with a fn

Thanks for the comments guys. I've got a couple of Russian capture P38s. I only need for them to be all matching, non-import marked and no Russian "x" on the pistol.

After all, who wouldn't to want a P38 that was at Stalingrad? Or Kursk??

                      take care!!
