I am speechless! What a find! Congrats and many thanks for showing.
Have a question, are commercial Lugers more valuable than military issue ones?

        Festung,
With notable exceptions (I.e. long bbl. carbines, commercial navies, etc.) Commercial Lugers have long been the red-headed step-child of Luger collecting. Especially the 1920 commercials .
I'm sure because they were available to anyone, and sold worldwide, their commonality made them ubiquitous.
Common here in the U.S., sold nationwide, most we see these days have seen a tough life. Nothing like what I stumbled upon... So, yes, this particular Luger is very common as lugers go.. But a prize in my collection nontheless.
The really pricey Lugers are the Military ones, and the special order ones. Of which there are varieties too numerous to mention.
So, the issue these days is not what the price of a Luger is, but whether or not the owner will sell.
        Good question, Sir..
