    SVT40 Tokarev visor

    Hello,
I would like to know your opinion on this SVT40 Tokarev visor.
    Who made it? Thula factory?
Supossing it is original, how much is it worth considering condition?
    Optics are crystal clear.
    Many thanks for your help.
    Regards,
    Ace

Nice original "Progress" made scope. It hasn't been recalibrated fo a MN91/30, so it is worth more - about 250-270$

          Thanks Karol
Is possible to know which plant manufactured the scope?
Also, what do you mean by a 'recalibrated scope'? Were this altered in some way to fit the MN91/30?
          Regards,
          Ace

Yes, during ww2 and postwar many SVT scopes were recalibrated for use with Mosin with replace of distanse scale. Such scope has "CB" mark at the dsitance scale.
Your scope is in original condition, it is unrefurbed.
Does it have threading at the front lense block?
If yes, congratulations, all parts match, and it is quite hard to find scope in original condition.

The progress scopes were made either in Leningrad (1940, early 1941) or Omsk (1941 and up). I don't know exactly at what serial range the plant switched the locations
