    G43's

Im currently deployed right now and I am going to get a G43 when I get back. Nothing special, just a decent unleaded with matching example. Just wondering which manufacturers had the best quality and how much should I expect to pay for one?

      G43 rifles

Good page, and he does excellent work, if you want to shoot your G43 get a new adjustable gas system and set of springs, this will save wear and breakage on your parts as the original gas system is quite rough on these rifles.

I also recommend that you pick up a copy of Darrin Weavers book: Hitler's Garands. Excellent read, tons of info....

Lots of different variants of the G43 rifles, rifles marked bcd were produced by Gustloff Werke, which has a subcontract operation going on at Buchenwald. Rifles were produced by slave labor, and quality and safety of these rifles are held suspect. Inmates would attempt sabotage procedures on the rifle during the manufacturing process. While historically important and collectible, I would avoid shooting a BCD coded rifle. Buy a DUV (Berlin Lubecker) or AC (Walther) coded rifle if you want a shooter. Chris...

Thanks for your service as well!
