Gebirgsjäger, what sniper rifle did they use?

The Gebirgsjäger, a unit I am getting more and more interested in.

I understand there was also snipers among them, very interesting.

Did they use a G33/40 with a scope?
Hope some can help me with some information here.

All the pictures I have seen show them using K98k with different types of sniper scopes, never seen a modified G33/40 although I recall seeing one picture with a ZF41 if memory serves me right

Here are two lists from the monthly reports made by units within the 20 Gebirgs Armee.

both are from late 1944 and show the small arms held by the 2 and 6 Gebirgs Division. The top one is from the 2 GD in sept.44 and as you can see this division used a high proportion of G33\40, but all it's scoped weapons were 98K. The 6 GD, this report from dec.44, used mostly 98K but here too all their scoped rifles were 98K
