PPSH Molot factory show off

So i made a post today to find out the maker of my new gun. Now I know it (and now my camera is recharged) I took some pics to show off the epic PPSH! Although I collect german things, Russian objects are my love! They are cheap, widely available and always give me a sense of raw steal power! Sorry some of the pics are blurry but my camera is not the best XD









The guy didn't have a barrel clip so he gave me this bar one free of charge

(there is also an epic picture looking down the sight but it wont upload XD but basically the sight has the number 20 on

I believe it is old spec as I can cock it and also fit the clip in and pull the trigger... It may not be however as I have not read the certificate (I never do) I don't mind as I just place this in my Russian officer collection and admire it as I walk past... It was made before the end of the war and I managed to trace it to somehow traveling to Germany before the war ended... So I can only assume it was used in combat or traveled with a regiment to Berlin when it was taken...

Nice one, looks good. If you can cock and dry fire it should be old spec then.
How did you manage to trace it to travelling to Germany?
