In trying to research this fairly unusual item, manufactured somewhere between 1914 and 1923, I have not been able to find anything regarding the Caliber being anything other than .22 This example is 5mm and wonder if any Forum Member can offer any reason for this, or comments? Many thanks, Clive.

Thank you for your comments, it is quite possible that the 5mm caliber was made for the European market, but not been able to find anything to confirm one way or the other. A thought that occurred to me was if this small knife-pistol was the inspiration behind the later O.S.S. WW2 .22 "Stinger"? There are similarities in operation and of course the round fired.Attached Files
