hello, just got this k98 with bayonet (not in pictures and not matching). what do yall think about it. could you tell me anything about it. it is non imported and everything matches except for one piece.

You mentioned one piece on the rifle doesn't match... which one?
I'd guess the stock (with that H-band on the front) and the trigger guard (with the hole through the TG) at a minimum are not right for your byf 44 (made by Mauser Oberndorf). The sling appears to be post war too.Comment

I'm not seeing a number on the safety. Also as stated, that is the incorrect band for a 44 dated rifle.Comment
