        You are most welcome. I love the strawed parts on these pieces. I have a slightly older brother to yours brought back to Canada in 1946.

            There is no more beautiful pistol. Is the is the 36 commercial market version with the slightly shorter barrel? (3.5" I think?)

              Very nice pistol, congrats! I have his younger brother s/42 1937, brought back in 1945 with capture papers. These are " The German pistol".

                          thank You guys! I have in past a lot of 08 and other german guns in collection.
                          Now from P08 only this one and Black widdow Byf 41 with black grips in mint condition ad a few others PPK,HSc,Femaru,Unique,Star B,S&S,..
