The weapon with which Hitler committed suicide was taken by Günsche and then thrown away at a railway line in Berlin.

He showed the place after the war and of course it was all searched, but the weapon was not found.

    It is lost in time.

I also would take high doubts, if anybody in the whole wide world would show up with a serial number, cause you could take it for sure, that within a year somebody would sell exactly a weapon with this serial number for big money. This would be a great scope..

By the way: it is not even sure, that it was a PPK or a PP. It could also be a Walther Mod. 4 or 7.
Perhaps it was the same weapon which took Geli Raubal to commit suicide?
    Who could tell?

Most eye wittness accounts report that the gun was a 7.65 mm and also most llikely a PPK.

The wartime photos of Hitler wearing a sidearm show it to be a Walther PP configuration from the size and style of the holster. Aside from the elaborate presentation firearms presented to him, that is the only service pistol associated with him.

Many years ago as a guest of Frau Scharfenberg at Zum Tuerken on the occasion of her husbands birthday, several old guard from Hitler's former circle were present.
Amongst others were One of his chefs, and one of his Munich tailors.
He confirmed that Hitler had a leather re Inforced inner trouser pocket for his small calibre auto.
This was quite visible in the photo of the destruction of his Juli 20th tunic and trousers, thrown onto the ground, the gun bag is very clearly visible.
Bormann also carried a sidearm under his jackets. You can see the shape sometimes when looking at some of the Frentz archive.
