    I just found 3 cased of these ZF34 OPTICAL SIGHT´s here in Norway, and will buy one of these.

    Hi Peter
    Heres a picture of my 34 optic it has the periscope (mg zieleinrichtung) accessory fitted ,its in mint condition as is the case and carrying strap.
    this come from Norway too.

          Mg-42 Optic.

          Have occasionally thought of buying one but the price asked for what to me would be a "stand alone" item would be hard to justify.
          Having said that they look to be a very well made piece of kit in their own right and optically would be hard to beat.
          The light units for these items fit all german optics and I can't help wondering if the MG-42 / 38 connection influnces prices , some folks are asking over £200 for the battery box and lead alone- they do however breath life into dormant graticules.
