      hello Gurt,

As soon as I put my hands on them I started cleaning, to find maker's and WaA stamps. It's incredible how they stamped almost every part. I found some more BSW and WaA 4 on some, as the three little studs that conect the trigger system to the cocking handle: two WaA4 and one WaA28.

At fisrt I put all MG34 parts in one box and all the other in the second. The two tools in blue square are both maker and year 41/43 stamped. The two parts in the red circle are an MG42 extractor, I believe. The one in green is a luger part. That spring in orange might be for the MG34 receiver dust cover. I can't identify those with a red arrow nor the screws, as they don't seem to be for an MG 34. If any one knows what they are, please let me know, thanks.

Great collection of AA sights, Carles!

I only have one - looks like you have an immaculate one there, too!

        Thanks for the pics,

        Pit.

          Hello pit,

Yes, I've got 5 or 6 in very good condition I bought that BSW one from a french merchant who thought they were Yugo repro. He only had a couple in that moment and promised to bring more in the next fair. I paid and had a look and said:

-"Incredible, they have even faked the maker's stamp!!"
          He replied- "What stamp??"

You can imagine I never got any more

BTW, I've put some MG34 parts up at E-stand:

I don't pity the dealers, they should know better -
Thankfully you bought that nice one -

My Ebay AA sight is quite rough, the only marking is the waffen - WaA200 - I believe, but surface pitting is right where the stamp is.
            Once again great post, gracias!

              Hello Pit,

I was not pitying the dealer but me If I hadn't said a word I would have got many more mint excellent AA sights very cheap Thank God it wasn't my only source and I managed to get 2 or 3 from Spanish Civil War provenance, in their early MG13 pouches, with bolts and spanners included

                      Hi Carles,
last year in ebay.com one original and complete new and mint set was sold!
And I didnt get it ......

The one depicted in Mirvangs book is not original, there are only a lot of spares, mostly used and put together...

                        hello Haubentaucher,

Sorry to hear that. I'm making my sets with some original spare lots and scrapped parts also, whatever I can get.

In my last photo you can see three original screws for the ejection plate. Those are quite rare to find

The ring in that pic fits perfectly with the middle ring of an AA spider sight. I don't know if it is an original spare but looks very well made. It is not blued and doesn't have holes for the crossing bars
