Looks good to me also...Shame how they crudely welded the barrel in place. Did you get from germany?...Barrel looks like a german deact?

Nice late war mg42 assembled by gustloff werk in 1945. - It spent some post war years in the Austrian army, which i beleive the BH marking next to the receiver markings means Bundes Heer that would mean Austrian use. it has some post war parts fitted, mainly the grip panel (left hand side), and the rear site ladder if im not mistaken. the stock looks to be the correct late war type aswell, the tope cover looks ok, but it is not matching to the receiver serial number, overall its really nice
