    1941 Walther PPK

Hello, here is my 'new' deactivated Walther PPK. It is all original finish and wear throughout, and has its original brown/black (with some red) bakelite one piece grips. It also has the brown bakelite finger extension on the magazine. It has a high polish finish, and matching double serial numbers, which I believe date it to 1941? Here are the pictures, so please let me know your opinions! Thanks for looking, Patrick

Just as a suggestion, use a darker background. The camera sees all the white background and adjusts the exposure to correctly record the white, leaving the pistol underexposed.
My computer came with a simple version of iPhoto, and this is the photo lightened up a bit. The white background is now overexposed and washed out, but more details can now be seen on the pistol.

      Hi Johnny,

here are some, hopefully better, pictures below. So, does anyone have any opinions on the actual ppk itself? Thanks,

      Patrick

Hi Viper, the magazine isn't serial numbered anywhere that I can see. Patrick

Nice used pistol Patrick. The grips and finger extension are made of Trolitan, not Bakelite. Trolitan was a different type of plastic than Bakelite using different ingredients and procedures that made it suitable for injection molding, unlike Bakelite.

And You are right, #354353k is a serial number of late 1941 production.
