    Mystery MG Tripod HELP!!

    I bought this along with a bunch of other gun accesories from the son of a deceased collector. I'm thinking it's ww1, but I really don't have a clue. Any idea as to what gun it goes to would be a great help. Thanks in advance.

                  Yes, this is a Digger tripod. Can't tell from the photos whether for the Colt or Marlin gun...they are slightly different.
                  In any case this is a very nice example of a tripod that is not often found on the loose.
