S/42 KM Luger

Hi....This is my first post here and would like opinions on this Kriegsmarine Luger I've just bought. Of course living in the UK, it's deactivated.

Matching numbers apart from the grips which are both numbered 21. What concerns me is the barrel. The only stampings are an S and A (in circle). The marry lines have been ground out, I guess due to the deactivating.
My concerns are the barrel is post war and would appreciate some opinions.

I would think the barrel would be numbered like all the others.

Not sure when it was replaced...
