    Astra 600 holster

Just found, enjoy this IMO very rare to find Astra 600 holster.
I always thought all 'dkk44' marked ones came without WaA, but have a look at that half eagle in the cut flap. Why would this be marked in such a way?
    Any opinions welcome.
    Many thanks
    Ace

Any ideas why the WaA eagle would be cut?
Maybe the leather was approved and WaA-med before final holster assembly?

What makes this a Astra 600 holster? Appears to be a P.38 holster to me.

Narrower leather cut, absence of P38 designation and 'dkk 44' marking is typical for Astra 600 holsters
                Cheers,

Would like to know if anybody can shed some light as to why the WaA should be cut in the leather

                    Hello Ace. Nice holster
Her is a Picture of the stamps on my Astra 600 holster.
I have no good answer why the eagle is cut.

                    Regards Tropisk

Nice holster. Probably just a mistake from the guy putting the eagle mark.

                          Festung,

I just went through my dkk holsters and I didn’t find any waffenAmpt’s on my examples. I think your holster is fine and if the person who stamped these holsters made a placement error, this in itself would not stop the issue of the holster. Don’t get to frustrated with the forum, I used to be a forum moderator along with Weber who really busted his @ss to make the forum grow and be a resource, it was at times a struggle. As a moderator I used to get lot’s of PM’s from some VERY advanced collectors who resisted posting items and preferred to stay on the “low down”. There are many who have a wealth of knowledge and will share it and there are some who no little and prove it when they post.

Many thanks for your kind words
I completely agree that many times this is frustating but thank God there's good people still around trying to help out. This is something that for different periods has stopped me logging in this forum, but hey we all have the fever
I found strange that someone would stamp the WaA in a wrong place, but with all the russ specially late war I understand that this could happen very often though I haven't seen any other example wrongly stamped yet
All in all I am very comfortable with the holster
Thank you so much for your answer and for checking your dkk holsters
                            Cheers,
                            Ace

That should have been a "know not a no"... Chuckle.
