MP38 UK Deact Question

After reading the thread on the estand MP38 I am intrigued to know what is the general view on the value of a UK Deact MP38. To be honest I can't even say I've seen one for a long while, I've seen a few MP40s and they were expensive enough!!. Has anyone one seen any 38s for sale either old spec (fully cocking) or new spec (welded shut) and if so what are the current prices??

Any info would be great.

Battleflag militaria has one for sale at £1,250. Check their website, its a modern repro new spec but seems a bargain for that price.

last one i saw was old spec last year went for £3500 battleflags one is just a repro thats been deactivated (not worth anything)

I believe it would be a semi-auto deactivated repro MP38.

A mp38 deactivated by german law, in good condition, original and match number is going around 2500-3000 Euros. The problem is that I can´t say you any dealer here offering one or any private sales for the moment. But this can change every day as I know from experience
The UK prices are definitely higher 500-1000 euros !
