CXE is the code for manufacturer "Britzer Eisenwerk Paul Szubinski" from Britz Kreis, Angermünde, Germany.

        Hi Paul,

I believe your maker is "CXB" which is the secret code for Moll Lederwarenfabrik, Goch/Rheinland.

        Regards, Leon

            Hi Paul,

Stampings are hard to read on pebble grained leather. I am pretty certain that it is "CXB". I have 2 or 3 of those myself. CXB was a common late war maker of soft shell holsters. "Eisenwerk" translates to "iron work" and they would not likely have been making holsters.

            Regards, Leon

                Paul,

Here is an image of a CXB marking on a pebble grained holster where the pebble grain is not so rough. I think you can clearly see it here.

                  Gentlemen,

Thanx for all help, I checked the stamp again and it seems a B instead of a E.

When you're using a magnify glass you see it more clear, its a B

                  regards Paul

Nice to see a CXB 4 holster with a WaA "bird", they do not always have one.

                    Regards Sonnenwende
