1939 Mauser Luger all matching except mag

Well,

I thought for sure I found a P08 with a 1921 mark on it.
It was mis-matched so I didn't get it so I don't remember the details but I am fairly sure it wasn't marked with the 1920 as well, just the original 1917 date.

So I asked about this and was told they used 1921 and also 1922 but they are very hard to find.

Its very possible I have this information mixed up, but then what was the P08 I saw? Maybe it just had the 1921 date and nothing else. What would that be?

As noted in my earlier post, DWM made 1920 and 1921 chamber dated pistols, and both will be found with the hand stamped 1920 property mark.

If someone gives you with information that there were 1921 and 1922 property marks, ask for a reference as to where that is found.

1920 was a property mark. 1921 and 1922 or any other date than 1920 is an actual date... not a property mark.

No confusion there. You must have me confused with Von Kleist.

Johnny..I did not mean you..I just don't think it was made particularly clear that any number besides the 1920 property mark..was actually a date. Just a clarification..not a criticism.
