Hi,
I'm thinking of getting into firearms collecting in a few years (when I'm able to apply for a licence). So can anyone inform me about the availability of German firearms in Australia, particularly in Victoria? I'm thinking of purchasing a P08 Luger, a Walther P.38 or a Kar98k rifle. In later years, I'm thinking big and hoping to purchase an 'Artillery Model Luger' Lange or a Mauser C96, both of these complete with wood-backed (wooden forC96) holster/clip-on butt. All live of course, not inert (de-activated). Could anyone advise me as to whereabouts I can find them, and if they're legal in Victoria? (As I understand it, different states in Oz have different firearms laws.)
Cheers,
Jeremy
