    Walther p38 cvq

    Hello Guys,

    I got my self a nice P38 all matching ,it has some kind of stain that I believe could be one of those" blood stain " that people talks so much...

    cyq is spreewerke

    pretty sure the cyq is a spreewerke mfg. great guns, i paid 375 for mine and have shot it. wouldn't sell it for three times that amount.

      In addition to Pitts' identification it is interesting to note that your P38 was one of the last made, in March 1945.
      Production for the Wehrmacht ceased around b5000 serial number.

        I paid a bit more for mine ($450) it feels really nice in your hand, its heavy and it shoots really well too ..although I still prefer the P08....as Douglas said mine is one of the last ones produced by the German in WW II ..I know the french took over the Walther factory and had some P38 with the 1945 stamped on them...

          cvq 1945

          The Russians captured the Spreewerk factory. You've got a really nice spreewerk there. I paid 700.00 for my a prefix variation. The last production run of Spreewerks before the factory was captured was the zero series .....

              What are CYQ's like this currently going for? I have one as well - its a similar condition 2nd half '43 piece that's matched.
