    Can anyone ID the maker of this ammo box

    Hi, I've picked up an empty card box of 7.92mm ammo with a label showing the contents were of unknown origin (Lieferung unbekannt). This is pasted over what appers to be an earlier German box label. There is also an impressed maker's mark for the box which is 'Awepe 1938' Does anyone know who this maker is?

    Any info on this type of re-boxing would be appreciated.
