Finally replaced a Czech vz.27 pistol I had parted with awhile back..

    ...with this fine example -

Here are some close ups of the pistol itself -

The pistol is all-matching with correct WaA76 stamp, intact grip set, , straw colored trigger, and P.Mod.27 magazines -

Pistol also came with a spare magazine and a holster marked WaA721 along with D/1250/0011 and EZGJ1944 -

Will likely take her to the range tomorrow, but considering the pistol's condition I have no worries and anticipate it will perform flawlessly.

I really do have a soft spot for these Czech pistols made during the German occupation period. Speaking of which, with a #66730 serial number is it likely this pistol was manufactured in late 1942 - early 1943?

Thanks for any information and comments you are willing to share.

    Tim,
A beautiful piece, thank you for showing! I too have a soft spot for these, have owned several over the years, sold them, but fortunate again to have a nice one in the safe.
    Thanks for showing, excellent photography

Nice one Bill!!!! I also have a soft spot for these. I think next German pistol I get will be this one (turn 21 in less than two months so hopefully I can get a C&R while living at the barracks).

                  Hello, very nice!
The question is whether this year would not be a logo on the CZ grips properly refined, it is possible that the grips have been replaced

Jindrich M is right. The grips are definitely postwar or (I think) reproduction of postwar grips. Prewar and wartime grips have CZ trade mark or notrade mark. The postwar grips are marked with CZ-dot trade mark. Small dot is closing the letter C opening.

                      Tim.

I love these little pistols, too. I have recently learned of them, and I have recently added two very nice ones to my collection. They were not on my radar before about 6 months ago.
Interesting tidbit about the grips; both mine are Waffenampted marked,
but the grips are different from yours, in the sense that the "C" does not have the dot in the open mouth of the C, just the little v looking character at the top of it..
Thanks for pointing that out, guys !! That's what's neat about this forum; you learn so much from the walth of collective knowledge here !!!
                      This forum ROCKS !!!

Nice vz.27! And thanks to J&J for teaching us something new about the grips.
