Its been well known that for over 40 years, you can have any stamp made for any waffenamp right here in the USA.(and exact) Lots of sniper faker/dealers have used stamps like these for decades to mark, stocks, and rifles to sell as ringers to the nimrods. SO...IMHO,....As far as these are concerned, They may just be fakes to start with , so without provenance and proof, personally,I wouldn't give 50. for the lot , so what good are they anyway?? I'd rather keep the 4000 euros, and buy something that will acrue in value for future investment, before i'd blow that much on this lot. I guess to each his own, and so they are all yours as to me they are merely crapola, but thanks for showing them anyway , and maybe they will find a "sucker" , but most mauser collectors are pretty shrewd, and now days its becoming much more difficult to huck experienced mauser collectors . Let us know what the ending bid is,if you can remember to come back at the end and add the final bid to the thread, as i would guesstimate possibly between one and 2 G's at most(USD) .

either which way i can see these ending up in the hands of some junk dealer, stamping away at anything he can find to dress up a little bit.

I think selling these stamps is very dangerous.
We know very well how many fakes are on the market, and I think original WaA stamps should not be sold.
I know that many original stamps are still on the market, but I don't feel the need of other fakes..
Anyway I had a look at the auction house that sell these pieces, and I don't like the items they sell; many fakes and "strange" items..

Auction houses don't have a check on the people who buy the items..

surely some faker will be happy..!
