    75th Anniversary Luger

    Well I posted this query previously on the Uniforms and Cloth insignia forum (couldn’t find the right spot to put it.) Unfortunately I didn’t get any responses so I thought I would bring it over here and see what we come up with. Does anyone have any info on a Mauser made 75th Anniversary Luger? It is double marked 1908 and 1983 in gold, the only other time I have seen a double stamped Luger is a reissued 1917 with a 1920 mark on it as well. It has various gold highlights looks quite nice. Supposedly only 250 of these were produced. Any ideas on value for a mint boxed piece? Any comments, thoughts and opinions would be most appreciated.

    I wouldnt doubt that "Gun and Ammo" magazine might have a story on this in some long ago past issue. Have you tried searching it on the web?
