sending de-act K98 to Spain.

Hi everyone ,
I don't know the answer to this and so I would be very grateful if someone on here who does know the answer to this, could help me out.....

I have got a de-act K98 (complete with the certificate) and would like to know if I am allowed to send it to Spain through royal mail.

No you can't send Deacts out of the U.K. I contacted Customs re this before and was told I would need an export licence, which owing to the fact it was a Deact would not be granted. I have spoken to a couple of dealers and they both said they used to be able to send Deacts within the E.U. but this was stopped a few years ago. They also said that export duties, fees etc were so high that it just wasn't worth it.
