    K98 Pouches

I have 2 pouches, which I am posting for a friend. The first one is an early K98 pouch and he is wondering if anyone knows what the ink markings on the inside stand for. The second set of pouches I believe to be post war. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks again

It could be LW item, its a brown colored
i am not expert in this but Fl.H.Kdtr, Bobl. could be for Flieger or Flak Haupt? Komandatur, Boebling or Boeblingen? , 3 Stamm?/ ??433, the last letters are not readable, but nice piece. best regards,Andy

      Hi.

Why do you think brown is postwar?
I cannot recognize yours, but brown were used by:
      Poland
      Finnland (also they used Polish)
      Lithuania
Austria?? - I'm not sure about it.
      Turkey

German ww1 and ww2 (Police, Luftwaffe) brown were from pebbled leather.

      best regards

PS I have pictures of brown pouches, but all are different than yours.

PS2 Anyone knows, who else used brown mauser pouches?

Thanks for you help guys. Why I think the brown are post war is the construction and materials used. They look like Yugo but I could be wrong. Anyone esle have some input?

          Hi Trevor.

I have seen only double Yugo pouches. When were produced like this?
What do you mean by type of material and construction, that you think are postwar?

          Brown are without any marking?

          best regards

            I assume it's meaning:

            FL.H.Kdtr.Böbl.
            3 St./?? 133

            so my guess is;

Flieger Haupt Kommandantur Böblingen (that's a location in germany)
            (Flight head command Böblingen)

3 St could mean 3. Staffel (3rd squadron)
